This scientific project is literally cool because it uses cold water or room temperature, H20 and balloons to complete the experience. In this demonstration you use a ball and put the heat of a candle flame.
This project was supported by a group of girls and they loved the activity, but it can by a student or as a class 7 class 8 science experiment will be carried out. You can call it a demonstration school for two years of the study should achieve success with this project.
Before you do this, you need the supervision of a parent or an adult and they can not actually want the ball over the flame and light the matches and candles to keep it for you. Please be careful when matches and candles.
The materials needed for the demonstration:
• 2 balloons
· Water
· Results of the games
· A tapered candle in a holder
Here are instructions for the experiment:
Light the candle with the game.
Inflate the first balloon and tie the end. Hold the ball over the flame of a candle. You can cover your eyes with goggles. This balloon will pop and very fast. Resurgence of the spark plug with a different game. Fill the other flask with water. It does not matter what the temperature of the water. Tie the end of this water-filled balloon.
Keep the flame of a candle. What happened? You will notice that the ball is not triggered, as the other balloons. The flame is not to hurt the skin ball. Why does not the balloon pop? The water absorbs the heat, and very quickly that avoids damage to the balloon or merger in any way. You will notice that some debris outside the black ball. This is only the carbon emitted by the candle flame. It can easily be wiped with a damp paper towel.
Here is an explanation of why the water keeps the second burst balloon. It is to protect the ball and keep it cool enough not to break it. Do a little research before the public the real heat from the flame and why and how water can absorb heat, even if the ball is the real material touching the surface of the flame show a candle.
